Terms & Conditions

1. All our tours are subject to weather conditions. The captain reserves the right to change or cancel departures at short notice if the weather is unsuitable for a boat tour.

2. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather conditions, any bought tickets will be refunded in full, or passengers can reschedule for another day. Availability on the next tours is not guaranteed, so passengers need to contact us beforehand to check and to secure a place.

3. In the event of no whale or dolphin sightings during the tour, passengers will receive a complimentary ticket for another tour either with Láki Tours in Ólafsvík or with Whale Watching Hólmavík. Complimentary tickets can be used at any time while Láki Tours is operating and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Passengers are required to show their complimentary ticket when booking a new trip. Availability on the next tours is not guaranteed, so passengers need to contact us beforehand to check and to secure a place.

4. Cancellations up to 24 hours prior to scheduled departures will be refunded in full. Should a guest cancel or fail to arrive on time on the date of reservation, the full price for the tour shall charged. A booking can be cancelled via link Manage my booking received in the confirmation email or sending an email to booking@lakitours.com.

5. Láki Tours reserves the right to make changes to any of the scheduled trips if and when necessary, and will notify all those who have purchased tickets of these changes. Information about any changes will be through e-mail and/or phone.

6. Passengers are advised to be at the scheduled harbour in advance. 30 min. before departure for whale watching tours and 15 min. for puffin tours.

7. A minimum number of bookings per departure is required for the trip to go ahead. Láki Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a departure if the minimum number of bookings has not been met.

8. Láki Tours gift cards are non-refundable and expire after the date listed on the gift card voucher.
